Wendy Katz coaches people to have the life they want! She also helps people who are retiring or soon to retire to develop a successful and enriching retirement life. She helps them identify their retirement strengths and concerns, to create a personal retirement mission statement and design their personal retirement options plan.
Wendy has completed over 100 hours of coaching and graduated and received her coaching certification from IPEC, the Institute of Professional Empowerment Coaching, a school accredited by the ICF, International Coach Federation. She is an RSP-Trained Retirement Coach and is a member of the ICF.
Prior to coaching Wendy enjoyed many careers, including teaching Mathematics on a high school level, working as a private Math tutor, working as a Counselor for Vocational Rehabilitation and owning and operating a Children's Bookstore. The variety of careers is the result of always seeking new challenges. Wendy has a BA degree in Mathematics and an MA in counseling.
Wendy has spent a great deal of time engaged in personal growth activities to enhance her personal and spiritual awareness. She is also an avid cyclist who has completed three centuries (100 mile bike rides) in the past five years. What she loves most about cycling is being outdoors, surrounded by the beauty of nature, with the wind blowing through her hair. She feels strong and vibrant, as a result of being physically active. Wendy also loves to read and travel, always looking to learn more about life. She believes in living life to the fullest and helping others to do the same!
